A good question but a lot is down to water supply feed. 21 litres requires a fast feed to tanks.

We stick with 15 for this reason.

Better to have it, and not need it, rather than to need it, and not have it  ;D

So the 21 is best as you can throttle it back. 15 is 15 max

Very true, bit like a car really better to have a bit in reserve then be flat-out and peaked but need that bit more.

The pressure would be the same - just more flow. The extra flow makes work a lot easier.

So basically the whirlaway spins alot faster but gives same pressure? Oh well I guess I'm going to get a new machine then. So would 3 quarter throttle be about 15 litres a minute?

Our 15 litre a minute machine is a 13hp honda g390 with inter pump. What would a 21 litre machine use? A higher honda engine?

Not necessary, Tech-Clean 21lt is still 390 gX, the engine can handle the larger pump.

So when you use 21 litres a minute rather than 15 does it feel like you are getting more pressure? Even tho it's just more flow?

Drive Surgeon, as Roger said the GX390 has a capability 13HP . A WS202 pump requires 10HP . So this machine is ideal to give you 21 LPM . I would suggest however that you will require a double inlet water feed to the pump for max performance from the pump . Ed

Gx 390 is not 13hp .The gearbox will need 1 hp. The pump needs 10hp. This is not ideal.
