Was just wondering how everybody else is doing for work at the moment. Personally have never had such a quite time 5 jobs for last two weeks. Anybody else experiencing the same.

Fits and starts for me in Feb and March.I take 5 calls in a day and think things are getting going then get nothing for 2 days.
Getting repeats but very few new enquiries.

I was always told when it's quiet to drop the campaigns and then start them when it picks up how about you?

Wonder if there have been any groupon promos taking all the work.

Not seen any Groupon deals for ages.

I don't do Adwords as my website is always ranked high on P1.

I'm thinking of making a few changes to the site and taking prices off and see what happens.

Ive been lucky in that although Ive not been busy Ive had a biggish decent paying job each week.Got a decent paying commercial tomorrow.

Yes a good proportion

Say majority of my work is from website

Referrals and friends and family

Do leaflets quarterly and couple of ads in local saver passport

I'm contemplating selling up and doing sand blasting

too much competition now in Manchester

Been doing it 5 years now and this is honestly the quietest I've experienced since my first year.

Jan/feb I accept are usually quiet but without spending 50% of my profit on advertising I don't see how now you can earn a good salary as there are so many other companies popping up.

I had been really busy over the winter, mainly with claims work but this is dropping off now.  As my truckmount is down I have been reluctant to push my advertising but I will kickstart it when the new rig arrives in a couple of weeks.

I ve worked non stop since September
That doesn't mean I've been busy to me 3 to 4 jobs a day 6 days a week is busy .
Your idea of busy might be 2 jobs a day .

Reasonable year so far except a few quiet days end of feb. We always seem to have a quiet week end of feb every year. Last few days its gone mental and have booked the next 12 days up, plus have a 900 m2 office to fit in on a friday evening.   
Our adwords is getting 3 times the normal amount of clicks, just hoping there all customers and not malicious.

Here Here,    I used to get a lot of business from yellow pages but not anymore, it more than breakes even but I spend over 4k with them so it should !

Really good Jan and Feb, March rubbish, had a couple of decent sized com jobs, but it feels like my phone has been cut off at the moment, few e mail enq's.
