car park cleaning.
« on: March 17, 2014, 10:07:42 pm »
Evening all,,                                                                                                                                                                   I have looked at a job which involves me cleaning and sanding around 600 sq/m of block paving and 250 sq/m of tarmac.   I will be using my gx390 21l  with hopefully a surface cleaner if I can get it to work,  would normally price block paving at £3 sq/m  then tarmac at £2.5 when ive work this all out the price seems too high, how do I price up for such a large area its in a private estate. Thanks  paolo

£385 / day - probably 2 days work, 15 bags of sand. All depends on what its like and the water supply but you can do it for a grand and be very happy - or go for a lot more.  You could go down the Shriss Chott road and talk about the job for 2 days to justify the job or just get on with it and go in for what they will pay

Thanks bdcs I know I'm asking too many questions still new  to this and pricing is something which needs to be spot on . 2 days work  I was thinking around 4 maybe 5 . If my surface cleaner works the obviously it will be less.. am bit stressed  its a big job to lose  when not a lot coming in..
