I have two Walter Broadley/Tennant Challenger 800 floor machines for sale. They were originally bought from A1 machines in Derby.
These are the best machines on the market (BAR NONE) for diamond polishing and deep cleaning and can be used non stop as for those of you who are aware, unlike other machines on the market, they have detachable batteries so you can use it with one battery on it until it goes flat, disconnect and wheel the dead battery to the charger and put the fully charged one on and continue using the machine whilst charging the flat one. (I have five batteries in total). Also the design of the water tank means the weight if the water adds to the pressure the pads apply to the floor.
The machines have been used for three diamond polishes in Tesco's but not been used for a year now and I want rid as I find the whole diamond polishing too much trouble than it is worth and need the storage space in my unit.

The machines will need a full service but there isn't much wrong with them, I have had them looked at by an engineer.
Parts still available as Walter Broadley now owned by tennant.
Price??? Well i'm open to offers (try me) as I understand there is a cost to collecting these machines due to the weight of them but more importantly looking to clear them out of my storage unit.

have the machines been fitted with the extra weights to the drive heads?
and what condition are the batteres

Hi, they have the circular weights but off the top of my head i can't remember how many there are, we used to put bricks on to add extra weight if it was needed.
The batteries are OK, last time the cells were tested about a year ago only one was a bit ropey but there are 5 batteries and the cells do just slide up and out so I'd be quite confident you'd get 4 decent ones at least and keep some spare cells.
