Carrying on from neil47 thread I was wondering how many jobs on average you do in a day?

My average is 4

I'm mainly domestic btw and average means just that I know that some days/weeks will be different.

Well I dont get that question , I have a carpet and upholstery job next week which will take 5 people 5 days , buy other days we do 5x 40 quid lounges .

2-3 we always try and  book a big one first thing the fill the early afternoon with the smaller ones. never like to finish later than 3

I was looking for an average Jason from domestics unless your cleaning Buckingham palace or the reprobates centre

I'm not however asking what sized jobs or how much they are worth just some average average.

Average about 3 per day for 1 van / 2 men - we too are 90% domestics. Rarely get one job to fill a day (usually non-domestic when we do), occasionally get to 5, maybe even 6 calls if a couple of them are spot treatment for a contract customer or a spot stain removal, most days between 2 & 4.

 when i worked with someone else and i was fitter 3 a day was avg  , i tend to get tired after the second one , probably would help to have a tm but id have to work more to pay for it

between 3 - 5 a day, so average 4 I guess. Sometimes 6. Full jobs, rarely do spot only jobs.

No secrets here just hard work and energy drinks, early start and late finish is quite normal for me.

I ve tried lm and its a good system , but i find porty easier wheels in and out of van , two hoses reaches most houses top to bottom .

Lm on domestics is far harder work than h/w . on commercial i wouldnt consider hw

The lad that worked with me , Colin had a stroke at the age of 45 never smoked, only drank holidays and birthdays , and went to the gym 5 days a week .

He is ok now but thinks there is more to life than work so he is on holiday for a year .

I'm struggling to get 6 a week . only 3 jobs booked in this week so far But as there is 2 of us we really need at least 2 each per day so it's tough at the moment .  Del

This time of the year it's probably about 4-5 a day.

Once work gets busy (April-December) then anything from 6-8 a day and on really busy days 8-10 jobs a day. Long days those but if the work is there we'll take it.

Where do you get your work from roger ? ( are you going to the TACCA day )I get some good work from leaflets but bugger all from the internet I find the people that get in touch from it only want to pay less than the cheap ones on there I've now tried putting cheapish prices on myself but still nothing really . All being well we'll be at TACCA day so we can have a good natter then as it would take too long to really explain what we do.

However, we get about 10-12% of all t/o coming in from website inquiries of which we convert only a relatively low amount into clients who use us more than once. That said we don't discount or give cheap prices.

Mostly it's repeat and referrals as we don't undertake any form of advertising besides the web sites. We do offer an extremely personalized service to the 20% of clients who give us 80% of our turnover and pro-actively manage them rather than simply being responsive.

Talking of contact details, I really don't think a Hotmail email address gives a very good impression. It would be better to have one from your domain. In this context, Hotmail (or any other free service) looks a bit iffy.

Benny, is there any reason why you only have one page indexed by Google? Is it a brand new site or have you for any reason blocked the other pages?
