PAS86 Industry Standard
« on: March 06, 2014, 10:18:29 pm »
Has anyone heard of PAS86 industry standard for CC?

Went to do a quote a few days ago and the guy mentioned this and said it's NCCA industry standard.

I informed him that I was NCCA trained but to be honest I had not heard about this nor knew exactly what it was.

I contacted him today to follow up the quote and he told me that he had yet to make a decision but was concernrd about my lack of awareness of this standard.

Any information about this?

Right thanks for this.

I'm not a NCCA member but have done the course, hence my lack of knowledge about this.

I wouldn't mind but all I was quoting for was a small landing, hall and stairs polyprop ;D

You would have thought we were cleaning a £10,000 broadloom.

Wayne, PAS86 is discussed on the basic NCCA carper cleaning course (well, it was on mine, 2 years ago) - maybe you forgot?  It's a (cleaning) standard we should all be aware of.
