First day with my extreme, mostly good!!!
« on: March 03, 2014, 07:14:18 pm »
Noticeable difference from my Slx 22  compared to the new extreme 18 I have been using today.
It seems like a cracking buy.
One thing is bugging me, do you really need the halfway adjusters?
They are doing my head in.
Why can't I just remove the tape and  adjust it to whatever length I like,  just like my Slx?

Anyone done this?
I don't see the point at all
Maybe I'm  missing something

Yes, used my new extreme for the first time on Saturday,
took a bit of getting used to, compared to slx only being able to stop it on the ends or in the middle,

you soon get used to the clamping points.the lightness and rigidity far outweigh(pardon the pun!) :)any little niggle with the clamps.

today i had a few commercial jobs where i had to use my 25 footer at full stretch just to reach the first floor windows.an absolute breeze to use.

i also had my extreme 47 out on a large domestic job(5 large velux windows on roof)dead easy! :)

best investment ive made for my business up to now.well worth the extra money compared to cheaper heavier poles. ;)
price higher/work harder!
