How NOT to clean at height
« on: March 01, 2014, 11:55:17 am »
Neighbour of mine got in Cleanpoint Restoration to clean the brickwork through the week.
Of course I didn't only take photo's but got some footage too. Who would like to see? ;D

Darran
Never argue with an idiot, they will only bring you down to their level, and beat you with experience

He asked me to unblock his drain in November, told him I haven't got time, which I didn't. We were flat out and always are. Anyone else gets told the same for drains, we don't do emergency drain jetting, I either sub it out to the lads that do or commercial give it my bro in-law with his big vac tanker. He asked me again weeks later, he got the same response. Maybe he thought there's no point in asking me.
I wouldn't mind though the boys at Cleanpoint do this every day. I would have had it scaffolded. Cherry picker would be a nightmare as you'll be moving it every time a car wants to pass. I would have declined the job probably. Brick cleans no longer interest me. Paving cleans and gum keeps us busy.

The two bushes and the pair of stepladders will restrict the distance the operative will fall should an accident occur and the green suits will be suitably filled with a large amount of poo at time of accident this will suitably cushion the fall ;D ;D
better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak out and remove any doubt
