Abseiling
« on: February 28, 2014, 04:23:22 pm »
Hi Everyone

Im looking to put a few of my staff through a rope acces course and have been getting quotes from level 3 technicians to supervise my eventual level 1's but im shocked at the cost. I understand the extra responsibilties and knew it would be a high price but its more than what im prepared to pay.

Would like to hear from anyone who has recently got involved in abseiling, any level 3 technicians who could give me a very competitive price, and anyone who feels they have any info that would help.

Appreciate any feed back...thanks

In my opinion although training is deffinately needed for abseiling the IRATA scheme is a big con the amount of hours needed to advance where supervision hasnt to be paid for is ridiculous you could learn to fly an aircraft with less hours supervision.
