Youngstown don't last. You won't find better than these.http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/SHOWA-460-Cold-Resistant-Insulated-PVC-Gauntlet-All-Sizes-/161002335478?var=460164635269&_trksid=p2054897.l4276I have had mine for a few months now. A bit ugly, but brilliant grip, totally waterproof and very warm. Oh, and only £14.99.
I bought a pair of showa 460 after reading recommendations on here. Not overly impressed, after a couple of days use, the insides started to feel damp, sweat you see, and it is very awkward to turn them inside out to dry. Have not used them for a while now, but i think you would need a couple of pairs, to alternate, plus liners to absorb your sweat!.
Yep. Showa 460 for me, though the 490s will do at a pinch. (Difference is in thickness of outer layer; 490s are a bit thicker, so I find them a tiny bit unwieldy). Not that it's mattered this winter. I think I've only had them on about half a dozen times. The rest of the time 377s have been enough.Vin
