How's your rain guarantee?

Don't suppose anyone's got a call back this month - customers haven't got a hope of seeing the results  ;D

I did a little experiment on Tuesday. I cleaned the windows at home just to see what effect the storm on Wednesday would have on them.
Curiously, the windows that are on the side the weather was coming from aren't too bad, but the side away from the weather are really manky and covered in what looks like salt.
Another storm today, so we'll see what develops.

Interesting.

We had a call back yesterday. We did this place tuesday, she reckons the windows on one side of the house look manky. I figure it's the trees as it's in a very rural location with the back garden facing a wood.

im sacking it off till monday now.still managed nearly 3 days work this week.besides its valentines day!im on a promise tonight so i need to save my energy! ;D

this week is the only week through the whole of this winter that ive not managed to get at least 4 days in(when ive had worked due).

ive had the best start to a year ever earnings wise(over a grand up on this time last year)so i cant grumble.

i still woke up this morning with a thought about going out and doing a few before it gets really bad as i love working!money is like a drug to me.

always next week lads! ;D

normally i would be working saturday to help get through the work but another washout day with strong winds forecast.
price higher/work harder!

Looks like a washout today but might go and do a large poly roof on a conservatory.  It will save a fdair bit of time when I do their windows soon.

I see quite a few people are offering this rain guarantee, do you have any particular T's & C's regarding this as part of your service?

Kind regards

Last night I called to collect from a house I did on Tuesday. We had had a hurricane on Wednesday, and the windows were filthy again.

The lady wasn't in, but as a goodwill gesture (and to increase my chances of being paid) I redid them.

Tonight I went back to collect. Said lady mentioned the state of the windows, so I repeated the above, and she promptly and happily paid up.

At the moment, I've given up.

Untill the winds die down, around here it's the salt in the air that is the problem.

I've never had a call back due to the rain but if I gave a salt guarantee I'd be doing the same houses every day.
Just chant..... Hare Krsna, Hare Krsna, Krsna Krsna, Hare Hare, Hare Rama, Hare Rama, Rama Rama, Hare Hare. It's beats chanting Tory Tory or Labour Labour.
