Hows the start of the year
« on: February 13, 2014, 07:38:13 pm »
Usually this time of year can be quiet enough, but have to say the last three weeks have been the slowest in years.I have had two of my friends who also work as carpet cleaners ,one long established biz with three vans and no work today.Hope its just the crappy weather.Hows the year started for you?

We had a very busy Dec,  First two weeks in Jan steady, then lift off. Stacked rest of Jan and Feb.  Got bookings already for the first week in March.

worst ever.

markets volumes are down some days as low as 50 a day impressions compared with an average of about 300 but the silver lining is switching to selling will have a positive affect once the market returns. might even be able to put my price up then? -)

There's a huge garden centre a couple of miles from us. They have a customer club that runs regular coach trips / excursions from there to various interesting places. A great way to keep customers.

Colin's glass is always full never half empty like his pockets they are always brimming with lucre, I always thought about moving across to the north west it's paved with gold not like these cobbled streets where I live oooooo it's poor here.
