Thank God I'm on benefits!
« on: February 12, 2014, 01:25:50 pm »
With all this crap weather I'd be in serious trouble by now. Mind you if they cap them to £35,000 next year I might start to struggle!
So glad I don't do a proper job.

Well all I can see if I ran this Country if have all the able people on Benefits who can work that are just lazy so & so's I'd have them signing on at 5am then off to clean the streets bloody ponces. Makes me laughter some of these scrounges earn more money on the dole than low pay working people just not right. 👳👳👳

Why can't people on benefits clean the council toilets and clean the roads and paths? Empty bins etc.

You should earn your benefits if your able to.

Totally agree with ya Jonny 👳👳👳
Free money for doing nothing, makes me sick when I'm going out at 4.30am and all these scrounges wake up at 12.
I think well these people will never have what we have and look at how they live whichales me feel a tad better 👳👳👳

This is for the able bone idle people not the genuine people as I don't mind my tax going to old & disabled people just disagree with it going on the low life's 👳👳👳💪

And get them to clean windows for next to nothing as well, I wonder if you were a road sweeper or council worker
would you suggest that.
People on the dole cost the economy 1 billion a year in which most comes back in taxes like vat.
Tax avoiders cost it 100 billion in which nothing comes back.

In no way would they replace people's jobs.

Just a mundane job for them to do that gives them their benefits. Going around parks and litter picking and just generally keeping on top of rubbish.

That would then free up council workers for other jobs they have to do.

So all people on benefits are scroungers...ive got a mate who has never been
out of work in 30 yrs until recently.

Does he come under the bone idle generalisation you have about
the unemployed.

Just asking :)

Take graffiti off trains there's so much they could do and I'd bet alot will get off there lazy backsides and get a job.
All this rubbish when they say there's no jobs out there, rubbish there is loads it may not be the job they wanna do but tuff work I'd work take what you can pay your way and keep looking for the job you wish !!!!👳👳👳🏃

Been working for 35 years and have never been on the dole.
Does that make me better than somebody who is?  Answer is no.
If there are jobs out there then you have to take them or lose your benefits, that's how it works.
Yes you will always get a few who know how to milk the system but its only a few.
Like I said let them do your job for nothing and see if you like joining them.

It's not easy claiming JSA these days.  I've a mate on benefits; there's absolutely nothing going for him in the way of work where we live.  He's severely dyslexic (properly diagnosed; not just someone who struggles with reading and writing because they were lazy at school).

The only jobs he can get are short term contracts; a matter of weeks mostly; and even then these are rare.

It's not easy out there.
