£1.70/m2 using chemspec stainshield pro

This is for a local carpetshop on new fitted carpet.

 Did 100m2  ( big lounge & stairs ) two weeks ago, took me 70minutes

hi Mike,the chemspec stainshield is a concentrate in which you dilute with water is it not.I have never used it,sounds more cost effective than prochems fluoroseal which i normally use.Just wondering how they compare.

Never compared them but I have absolute faith in stain-shield.

£14 seems expensive but what's an average size room ? Protect nano covers 20-40m2 per litre of solution so a lot more economical not used it as i use dry fusion but a lot of people give good feedback on it .

Chemspec used to be one of the few companies that had point of sale leaflets thats you could purchase and hand to customers. Is this still the case.

How does protect nano work? Stainshield require 5lt to cover the same area, 5 times as much, why is protect nano type protector only on sale in the uk? I would have thought if it did the same job as conventional protectors but used a fraction of the water it would be on sale in other countries (. But perhaps it is who makes it.?)

That isnt the market I am operating in.

They dont lie about the prices in this market.

We are very much part of their sales process.

It would more likely be £200/m2 so I charge them £20/m2

Phil my question were rhetorical , I would buy some and test it but I would need to buy loads and test it over a significant length of time something that is not feasible.

As for the maths question, a £10/m carpet would not be applicable in this case as it would not be wool at that price.... so protecting it would not be an option

Mike has a valid point here. His price of £1.70 is equivalent of my 10% charge.

The above was found searching 100% wool berber and its bang on the money for what we both charge.

Dont under sell yourselves guys!

When I initially did the Stainshield Professional training it was recommended that you charge the same as your cleaning rate.

So a £40 job becomes an £80 job. That second £40 is earnt in 15 minutes where the first £40 would be in 30-45 minutes. lifting your profitability massively.

No probs mate and if you was to use protect nano say £50 for 5ltrs which you mix 50/50 so 10 ltrs of usable solution would get you 200-400m2 so say £1.70p per m2 you would charge £340 so £290 profit but buy 10ltrs lol so you know you defo have enough
