People have been complaining about this problem for YEARS.

If the site owners cared they would have fixed it years ago.

My opinion is they don't care. It works well enough to get high traffic so why spend money.

I think this forum's days are numbered.

Its so old and outdated its painful.

personally I prefer the newer modern type of things popping up on the likes of facebook.

On here you need a degree in computer sciences just to post a picture, its ridiculous.
Its so slow I usually click on a topic then go make a brew while it opens.
Contacting other members is frowned upon so disabled.
I cant easily get it on my phone so most of the time its old news.

The facebook groups are dynamic, fresh, lots to look at and therefore entertaining.

Sorry guys but this old dinosaur is on last legs IMO

And I really hate to agree because I run my own forum too - but facebook pages & the like are really taking over and have many more options.

Who actually owns this site?

Another forum I'm on "mr foggys" (that's not the name of the forum so tosh don't delete my post) lol recently updated, and it took a few hours, and all runs nice and smoothly.

Surely there is a relatively easy way to do this?

Or perhaps the "moderators" could report back the issues.

One day it will fall over, but in the meantime, it suits us old lags logging in dead slow and don't worry about it.  Anyway, most of us have other more interesting sites in other browsers going on, so it's not as if cui matters that much - it's just a bit of fun.  Relax.

I'm afraid I agree. I could imagine this on an old BBC computer, but we have the internet now!
