I've had a set of Lytes for 10 years, great ladders (although they don't get used much these days)

Mine are double & 3.5m closed, your's sound a bit short to me.

Will be ok for reaching 1st floor windows but maybe short for reaching gutters.

I'm sure they'll be ok for normal houses, I used to do a lot of bigger country/farm houses etc with mine & there were occasions where a 3m double would have been too short.

3.0 that size is perfect for the day to day .not too heavy .
i have two sets of a double  3.0  and  triples 3.0
lyte TRADE , i love them very good treads etc

The only thing to beware is when you get them new ,go over all the edges with a metal file as they often have sharp edges that may not cut you but will certainly hurt you

another thing is lytes they can come still with factory oil on them, spend half an hour scrubbing it off carefully is what i do

i laffed at your  "stairmaster" ,
theyre lovely n light n cheap as chips too
but really haIREY  if you use them on a windy day- as you gotta climb em quickly before they blow down in front of you
