looking for a 1/2 inch hose from garden tap to get it connected. Can anybody recommend where to get them from?

Any bog standard 13mm or 1/2" I/d garden hose with a jubilee clip should fit.

Best bet is go to a plumbers merchant and get them to sort out the connectors.  Tell them you need one inch BSP male to half inch hose tail.  They normally have to cobble together a couple of bits. You also need a one inch male to whatever youre connecting into your filters or RO dependin gon your setup.

Hose.  Buy good hose.  Buy the best you can find.  Much cheaper than a leak.

i bought the wrong one as it goes on and off and not on constantly however yup still makes a good difference

Think mine was £80 and does 70LPM(from memory)

I thought you was asking about hose.......not a connector? 
Are you sure that connector is the one you need as it says "It will accept 1 1/4", 1" and 3/4" hose"?
That's inside diameter dimensions I would imagine. I thought you would require a connector that accepts 1/2" hose?
