EXTREME 25 stolen
« on: February 04, 2014, 07:27:24 am »
Dear all I have had my extreme 25 foot Gardiner pole stolen. I am yet to work out how it got stolen but please if anyone sees one for sale or is asked to buy one, report it to the police.
It is pretty battered, with lots of scratches, I had a black soft brush on the end and thick yellow braided pole hose.
PLEASE CAN YOU KEEP YOUR EYES OUT
stolen from the stockport area of Manchester.
This is my only pole so I'm really f-ed right now

A window cleaner has prob stolen it, so will be for personal use.

Gardiner have an extreme 18 on sale at the moment, few quid knocked off.

Should have a back up pole bud, even if its a clx  :)

Someone on here must have a spare pole they can lend this fella for two or three days til he gets himself sorted.

I have if you can't get anything g.brookes. Its never been used, but is just an 18' fibre-glass pole, from PureFreedom. Unfortunately I'm in Hampshire though sp would be problematic if you wanted picking up today.

I'm local to Stockport pal so will keep an eye out around the area when I'm out and about, keep an eye on gumtree and EBay too!

Dazmond is only a few miles away and has 237 old poles in his shed.  Might be worth a call.

Really sorry to hear that.  :-\

As regards to spares, I heard this the other day, stuck with me :

"Where there is two there is one, where there is one there is none. "

I now have got a spare pole in the van, and one up the loft, both ready to go.

the only spare emergency pole i have is a virtually brand new SLX 22 with the new smart clamps.i would not borrow it out to anyone unless i knew them well.certainly not to a stranger on the internet.

sorry mate.

i hope you track down your extreme but you should ALWAYS have at least one spare emergency pole at home IMO.

how did it get stolen?did you leave it at a house or was it nicked out of your van?

very best wishes
