990 kg payload.

-800kg for full tank (without frame etc)
-80kg for driver
-50kg for reel and hoses
-50 kg for fuel
-10kg for odds and ends.

That's your weight maxed out already. What about  a passenger or 2, tool boxes, water pumps, poles, ladders, roof rack? all the other odds and ends we carry.

I would very much doubt the van is legal when it is full with water.

Aside from that I would always think you get a better price stripping your kit out and selling both kit and van separately.

You say "still legal", i take it you have been over a weighbridge fully loaded then?

have some markers put on your tank, go to a weigh bridge with the tank empty, this will give you an idea of what you can carry to stay legal, we run a t260 but we only have a 400 L tank in, even then were close to the limit, BACK TO THE ORIGINAL QUESTION..! look on autotrader and match the spec of your van to similar ones for a valuation, add a bit extra for your kit but as the gent said earlier, possibly get more if you sell it all seperate
