I get nervous sweats when I'm on decking these days after my ladders gave way!
I now have some metal plates that go in the grooves of decking but if I can help I'll stay well off it and when I'm wfp setup I'll use that!

Use a proper rubber ladder stopper or spikes

I told my customers with decking that I can only come round after it has dried out as it's just too slippery, or I can miss those windows out on that occasion, give them the choice and they seem to be ok either way.  I've just changed to wfp so I'm pleased I no longer have that problem.

I put an old wet bath towel down on slippery decking. Works a treat.

Cant do anything about it once you've tripped but you cash be sure not to do it again and make a few quid in the process by pressure washing it for them...

Used to poop a brick sometimes putting ladder on greened up decking. Used to lob a scrim under the feet and pray. I think I even advised a few custies to have it cleaned so they don't slip. Love it now I'm on the wfp, not having to worry.
