Ecotemp L5 heater question

When this heater runs out of Gas ,
Can you still work on cold water

Yes but remove the batteries and save the electronic lighter.OR build a switch into the battery circuit.

did you run on cold water before you installed the water heater  ??? ???, if the answer is yes
and if the gas runs out and the water comes out cold.....doesnt that answer the question ::)roll
