anyone have an idea about this please --  after about 2hrs work the orange charge needed light comes on & starts beeping, backpack still goes all day but charge light is always on its been doing this all week & no idea why

open it up, find the speaker and cut the wire.
if its a surface mount, then put some tape over it.

Sounds quite strange - it will probably be a fault on the printed circuit board that controls the battery level LEDs. It is worth checking the connections between the battery and the circuit board to see if any are loose - if not then it may need a replacement circuit board.

How old is the backpack?
