Tobacco Smell on Leather Sofa
« on: January 28, 2014, 05:30:30 pm »
A customer of mine has asked how to remove the smell of tobacco from her leather sofa (she bought it 2nd hand without realising how bad the smell was). I have never cleaned a leather suite in 10 years of cleaning so don't wan't to start now but want to help my customer as much as possible. Can anyone suggest a good product / technique which I can advise?

We deal with this problem all the time with consumers who ave done exactly the same thing.
This can be difficult to fully remove as it generally penetrates all the innards too.
Em Clean is a deoderising product that is safe to use on leather and fabric and should be used as extensively as possible - several applications may be needed and spray inside if you can get to it.
In extreme cases the only way to get rid is to use an ozone room or ozone generator.
Hope this helps
