Growing the business

Hello.
I've been running my cleaning for three years , part time since my son was born in 2012. I employ five people, all part-timers . I want to grow , I've set myself a target to increase my income £100 per week. Has someone been on a point I am now? Advertising in a local papers works, but I need more now.   
How do you work on domestic cleaning, do you send on or two cleaners?
Any advice, please?

Sorry not much help as we do windows and exterior cleaning,  but I sympathise as I have been through this dilemma myself.

Improve your website, get some good content on there, then consider running an Adwords campaign. It could potentially bring you in more work.

As Neil stated, improve your website, I had a look and sorry it is really basic, didn't inspire me at all.
I know these things cost money but if you do it right it will be money well spent.
Not a lover of Adwords myself, prefer SEO campaign, works for me.

Good Luck, the work is out there, you just need to tap into it  :)

You need to have a growth plan.

I want to be in such and such a place by a given year. How am I going to make that happen.

Speak to business link, they will help you massively. I found them invaluable in my first two or three years.

Look for a company that will mentor you.

Website, website, website, website

I gave out a business card today to a principal contractor working on a local project. It may come to nothing but he didn't have my number and now he knows about my business

I noticed a problem whilst walking through a local town. I found the right channels and have to put an email proposition forward - to the right man.

Website - phone call on Thursday to assist in a project pending - I didn't know them, they did a search for one of my services and I have an appointment tomorrow.

Get your name out there, through leaflets.

Offer your current clients an incentive to introduce you to their friends

Get a website

There's a pattern here ;)
