Ha nice one cap'n sparkle :)

DirtyDarren good question, it hurt! I had taken them off to do the
Insides but had left indoor shoes in the van.

You should get yourself some waterproof overshoes bud.
£10 for 100 round here.
Takes me ages to undo my boots so I get those instead.

Yeah I've tried them before and worry about ripping them etc. And a couple of times
I've absentmindedly wandered outside with overshoes on and back in again with them still on :/ I have some comfortable little slipper things I wear. Comfort over style :)

Why is that 'extreme'?

Painfull on the feet though.
Just chant..... Hare Krsna, Hare Krsna, Krsna Krsna, Hare Hare, Hare Rama, Hare Rama, Rama Rama, Hare Hare. It's beats chanting Tory Tory or Labour Labour.

Can't discuss price I'm afraid. It takes two of us from 08:30 to about 14:00 to do inside and out, non-stop. Their front door is probably worth more than my house so it's priced accordingly. Once last year we were asked to go back after 3 weeks of doing them and do them all again. Not because they weren't done well, just because the lady had to come back for a week unexpectedly. People who live that way of life will pay anything, as long as they're not feeling they're getting ripped off and as long as they can rely on you, trust you implicitly and see that they always get a good service and the job is always done to a high standard. Really it's the same principle for the £25 houses, it's the penny pinchers who claim to be 'ripped off'.
