Brass T or Y pieces needed
« on: January 22, 2014, 05:18:37 pm »
Hi all

Anyone know where I can get a brass (not plastic - they split) T or Y piece for my Supalites. the brush jets have a 4mm barb and pole hose is 6mm, so 2 x 4mm and 1 x 6mm.

Cheers

Carl

Thanks Soupy but that's not what I want - I just want a brass version of this:

Yep and I find they come apart hence keeping it simple.

Nearest I can find is this.  Spec says 4 or 5 mm each arm so you may need to tape the arm for the pole hose.

I use Streamline Lite 5 braided pole hose. Not a good combination as the braided makes for a poor "seal".

Have you thrown away the little red clips that come attached?
When I first got mine I took them all off & chucked them. Assumed they were for transport or something.
Turns out their not.
They stop the hose pulling out accidentally.
On my next purchase from Gardiners I asked for 9 new red clips. They chucked 'em in for nothing.
Hose hasn't popped out since.

It's just the internet. Try not to worry.
