Roof Cleaning

Hi there,

Anybody kind enough to point me in the right direction of a list of the necessary equipment needed for a roof (tile) clean and seal please?

Scaffolding and fall arrest system,harness.Cat ladders, Risk assessment, method statement , public liability insurance. 3 days of dry weather.Spare tiles, pointing mix ,trowel , Airless spray gun,tarpaulin (s),head for heights.....pressure washer.

Joe,
Unless you are after quick bucks, leave it to the guys that know what they are doing,, more to it then just blasting off crap and applying  a sealer,  failing that smart seal or your local gypsy camp will give you all the info needed.

Not looking at it as a quick buck to be fair Rog. Looking into it as an add-on. The beauty of a forum is that you can ask anything. The downside though, I guess, is that the majority of answer-seekers are just looking for someone to make their money for them or tell them it's easy.

Surely they can provide info, come on Mr Smart seal... And at the same time can you change that sh#t banner showing a guy washing bent over wearing shorts .. Quality

Funny enough working today and the roof opposite has been cleaned / sealed by another company using an acrylic sealer... last month  :o

Surprise ...surprise its gone white, feel really sorry for the owner.
