Anyone used or use ionic brushes, if so what are they like I need a good decent brush fed up off brushes that only last a couple off months

I dont know about ionic brushes, but the tecbuk aerial brushes are built to last and clean really well, they are just a bit on the heavy side and the stock it too hard and can cause damage, saying that they probably dont weigh any more than the ionics brushes.

If you are only getting a few months from a WFP brush then you have probably selected too soft a brush for everyday work. Softer brushes are great for jobs that need this, but if used all of the time they will abrade & wear more quickly.

To improve the life of the brush upgrade to a stiffer bristle formulation. The Ionic brush does have a much stiffer bristle formulation than some brushes so may suit your need for longevity.

Great brushes last forever but do weigh more that gardiner brushes. I feel the same mine don't last so I might start using them again

Commercial heads are good for shifting dirt, shame they are so heavy and wide. I mostly use gardiners extreme brushes simply because of the lightness in weight and they clean sufficiently (just about) for regular cleans, would like to see more bristles crammed into their extreme brushes to be honest because they would scrub the dirt easier as I'd be happy to compromise the weight of a few ounces in favour of more bristles on the brush as they are getting light enough to compromise weight for better cleaning results so they can be used on new cleans with confidence

Thank you Alex for your comments. Have tried all the range .... extreme brush, sill brush, normal brush but still prefer extreme for size and weight. Use extreme on most work and sill brush on new cleans and other on conservatory roofs.

£30 brush lasts two months.....thats 50p a day and we earn what with these brushes? £100 a day? £200 a day? £300 a day?

But as Alex said i would look at your cleaning technique and bristles stiffness.

Gardiner sill brush last a good 4 - 6 months (medium mixed)

I have already asked similar.

165 - 185 grams ish grams sill brush, white bristles with the blue inner bristles. I think that brush would be unbeatable.

I had the stiff extreme on my evey day pole lasted a year the bristles around the edges have fallen out but a year is great value for money if u ask me considering how much money it has earnt me

It's the blue n black one from Gardiners I'm using the Centre bristles have gone funny so I want something that's gonna last a lot longer . Don't get me wrong the brushes are fantastic but when they wear they ain't that good.

Brodex brushes do last forever!
I tried an ionic brush on an SLXII.
Very strong cleaning power, did feel quite heavy compared to the radius cill brush from Gardiners.
I've got a brand new Ionics brush if you want to try it, are you near me?

Alex. Could you not make an xtreme brush that has a higher density of bristles as an in between the xtreme and SL? I've had to put a SL on last week because of all the bad weather as the xtreme just wasn't up to it, but the SL just feels like a brick in comparison. I think an xtreme with a weight of 200g ish inc socket, jets, tubes and tee piece would be just about right.

I have tried many brushes and by far the best has been my bright green n lite brush. Eats through dirt,muck and dust  and not too heavy either. Has lasted a good 6 months so far and still cleans as good as it did when i bought it.
