What all the cheap cleaners have to get there heads around its not matter 10 minutes to clean. The customer is not employing you so minutes gas got nothing to with it. Its cost to arrive, rusk to limbs and insurance  and cost of equipment and replacement, fuel and then time and travel you need to consider to run a business. One needs to see yourself as a business not employed by the customer to do work.
A lot of customer see themselves our bosses and this is wrong as a starting point. Even dictating how and with what we clean their window. We need to change there perceptions of us as business men. They pay for results not methods. We to need to take charge of your service and the cost thereof.

Tbh lots of windies up here charge next to nowt.
The vast majority are trad 2 or 3 men working out of an old escort, you know the type.
Very few custies have never even seen wfp.
Also traditionally windows were done every 2 weeks so prices tend to be low because folk are having them done lots.
I'm trying to buck this trend I push the fact that I clean sills/doors every time. (No one else near me does)
All new houses are took on at a higher rate than the work I've bought. ( Although its probably still less than you lot down south charge)
The bought work I'm hoping to increase prices over time.

Depends how big the house is.
I did a little straw pole of friends and family they pay between £4 and £5 pounds for a standard 3 bed semi.
A 50/50 split between 2 and 4 weekly frequencies, interestingly those on 4 weeks dont pay any more than those on 2
