How many of you chaps use Formula 90 as a pre spray, agitate then rinse?  What mix per litre (pre spray) do you do?!

It's a rinse, not a pre spray.

Very good product. If it's the powdered F90 it doesn't like to much heat, not sure of the range best to ask a distributor. As said it is meant as a rinse.

Just found out you can use it as a pre spray even though it's not mentioned.

Formula 90 powder is the best selling carpet cleaning product in the world. Probably our best seller as well.  It is a well buffered cleaning detergent, most people put it in the tank of their portable or stock container of their truckmount. When I was cleaning this and One Clean were used almost exclusively. One scoop per 10 - 15 litres of water or one scoop per litre for truckmount stock solution. If the carpet is not too bad, one thats cleaned regularly, then cleaning with the wand without a pre-spray will give very good results. Should it require a pre-spray then you can spray from the wand or use a seperate sprayer. Again I always achieved excellent results. This is mainly due to the Biosolv it contains which is a powerful citrus degreaser. Very rarely leaves any marks  which require further spotting. Never personally had any issues using heat even through the truckmount, in fact Paul King who has a beast of a machine which has a seperate Propane burner uses this and hes has red hot water coming out thewand most of the time.

Some people don't realize how good a product this is. It's been around for years and just keep coming back, all that filthy soil just does not stand a chance.

Its good stuff. I go through quite a bit of it.

As a pre-spray I've used it a few times just to experiment and it has always done a good job especially on upholstery.

So, is it safe for wool?
How long does take to neutralize?

don't know, saying that I've never had any problems with wool and that I have no idea when it neutralizes sounded boring.

Got told its one of the worlds best sellers, and its fine on wool.  White woollen carpets got told not to use it, but anything else its great. A great power house of a carpet cleaner (and fine as a pre spray).  Have not tried personally as it only came on Friday.  Got some stinkers to do on Monday so will keep you posted.

Any product will benefit from a dwell time.........as long as its not allowed to dry out.

I agree with John, any treatment we put on to carpets (allowing for dwell time) improves the clean, as long as it doesn't dry out.
