Dont know what the fuss is personally..some people dont
like the pole,if he appeals to them fairplay. He hasnt bad mouthed
any particular individual or company.

Hardly think this person is going to affect the whole wfp industry
some of you really need to get a grip ;D

Have to agree with this..

Thank you. I have removed them from Gumtree as It seem's to be causing to many issues with folks on here.

Business is Business right?

I have always believed getting stuck in hands on method works and I enjoy working at height. I was only trying to sale myself because there is so many window cleaners in my area.

Comments from MR.Poleman doesn't really help me and makes me sound out im slating all WFP cleaners which I didn't intend to do. Maybe he should go back to 'educating his customers' he should know what I mean.

Anyways I'm sorry if I have upset so many people.

Thanks

Andy

im with you ;), as i said good sales tactic

Depending on you can use a window scapper with a stanley blade and 'KNOW' how to use it you can remove pretty much anything.

Nope. Definitely not. You'll remove the excess but the silicone will still be there.
Next time you remove some silicone then WFP it you'll still see where it was.
Don't try & be smart. It doesn't suit you.

Your missing the point. If he is great he would not have to bad mouth others to get work. I don't know him personally but live in the same area. Maybe he should do a day with some one like poleman who has been in this trade for years. He might realise what poles are about. And be able to grow his business better.

I do not see the issue.

I list on my website the advantages of wfp over trad. So in a way i am knocking trad.

The ONLY trad i like doing now is commercial, anything else and you can actually shove it!

Taken from a trad website.....

Traditional is a proven window cleaning technique that offers the best possible results. Unlike those using a WFP system our cleaners are able to make a close inspection of all windows once finished. This reduces the risk of any marks being left by accident. To find out more on the benefits of this method over the waterfed brush system, for window cleaning,

Andy, forget all the stupid comments above (including mine) you've made an effort to get new business so fair play to you.
You've used your USP (unique selling point) as a trad window cleaner to your advantage...and you should; every business does it.
I'm based in Wallisdown so send me an email and I'll show my wfp pole setup if you're interested (it is the way to go mate). You may think it's crap but you can give it a shot and see if you like it. Also i've got some trad stuff I don't use anymore that may be of use to you. May cost you a beer.
Cheers
Pete

I think I must have,
cleanmywindows has advertised his business on the strength of traditional methods,
"had enough of the pole" is hardly bad mouthing and doing anybody any harm, I cannot understand what all the fuss is about. There are plenty of period properties out there that are more suited to cleaning with traditional methods anyhow and there are quite a few on here who I am sure will only target upvc double glazed properties because they are more suited to the pole.

Absolutely right!
If I was Andy, i'd target bungalows with retired couples for £13 a pop plus conservatory...there's loads.
P.S. Bournemouth is crap for window cleaning...don't come here  ;D
