Re: Pricing - how do you do it?

I charge on how long I think it will take to clean them but I'm only half full, so I have problems:
If I see a really nice house that I would love to clean, I will charge slightly less to make sure I get it. The customer loves the price so I wish I'd have charged slightly more.
If I see a house I don't want, kids toys everywhere, cars on the drive, difficult access, no decent parking, etc etc I charge a load more...and bugger me, I usually get them! I still hate doing them.
"Thank you for calling: if you have a 1st floor flat, mid terraced house, lots of dogs, no parking, no side access, or no sense of humour, please press hold!
For all other enquiries, please press1"

why don't you just charge the same rate for them all. nice or otherwise.. Make more money,?
If they don't like my prices I don't want them as custys.. Less effort more money..
