Hozelock pump

Anybody use the following as an ro booster pump?

It would be ok as a transfer pump but at 50psi I don't think it would be any good as a booster.

Yes I use a similar one. Halves my water production time.

That's good news. I will be taking water from a tank rather than the mains so need something like this

not a good booster pump, my water pressure at the tap is about 50 psi, you want over 100psi when using a booster pump

It will do the job but not berey well. 55psi is poor. I did the same mistake buying the draper booster pump which also is only 3.5 par(55psi) no where near powerful enough to make much of a notice.

As I'll be taking my water from an ibc to filter I think this one may be the best for the job, and cheaper than others iv looked at

That depends on what membrane you are using and your tap pressure. Works for my 'circumstances'
