Fanjets?
« on: January 12, 2014, 09:32:06 am »
I'm thinking of trying some fanjets just to see what they're like and If I get on with them.

So, when fitted into the brush, do you have the 'fan' spraying vertical or horizontal.....the latter I would've thought but not sure  ???.

To be honest mate just try them and make your own choice.
I didnt like them at first, took me around a week to get used to them, but after that i use them all the time.
Still use pencils on 50ft pole though, easier to handle at that height

If you rinse to far away from the glass, you can get serious overs spray onto the window.

Depending on flow rate, bristle depth and pressure. When rinsing on the glass you can cause the water to go upwards and that can cause serious spotting.

Not as accurate as pencil jets, so just watch those vents.

But............................

You can save water.

Sheets glass better for that nasty poop glass that hates water

Can be quicker on conny roofs, and fascia cleaning.

Actually i have a fan sill brush, i have re sold it to myself. Gonna try them tomorrow :D

Hi guys

I've suffered with my neck and shoulder and rib cage, gradually getting to grips with it,
one main aggravation was always lifting to rinse and looking up

So I changed to fan jets, they take some getting used too, I now never lift to rinse although hot water makes it easier I admit
But you can develop your own method, and you do need a brush that doesn't hold the muck,

I love fan jets and would never go back, if leaving brush on glass you need to move dirt of glass similar to traditional method  then back up for final rinse, it's a real art in the sense the brush stays on the glass at all times and I think water usage seems less not sure I use about 350 a day, it's less strain on the body overall
