had a call back today, job i cleaned before xmas. The carpet under a window had like a tide mark, must be some form of draught mark caused by the curtains been dropped on the carpet before it was completely dried.Had to use ultrapac to remove it.Would draught marks appear so quick?

They can do as there is a thermal current as the air between the curtain and the widow cools and tries to equalise with the room air. Could be just delayed drying due to the curtain lying on the pile causing wickback.

Thanks John, seen it a few times over the years.would not just rinse out without something like ultrapac,so guessing more like your first option.
