ive always used my pole clampless makes sense no wear
no cost refurbishing.

Doesnt make any sense for pole suppliers though does it

similar to those extended poles for decorating. its a pull and twist that locks it what happens when you are a bit rough and you get it jammed

I used clampless poles from Foggy when I started & here's what I found:

They're fast - very fast to use. You wouldn't think it, but it really is a massive time saver.

They're floppy as hell - granted I used one last over 7 years ago,.. something may have improved since

They wear VERY quickly - the original Fogwill one lasted 6 months and cost £150 ish if I remember right

You can buy "10mtr Telescopic flag poles" off ebay for £20 which are almost identical

The flag poles can be converted in about 30 mins - just remove the top 2 sections & glue in a threaded adapter.

To extend the pole quickly the user "Throws" the pole up - after 18 months of this I started getting severe shoulder pain

Without clamps there is nothing to stop the brush head spinning which can make it near impossible to get the bristles on the glass on some awkward reach windows.

Years ago I tried using a Harris pole clampless.
The brush head spinning was annoying to say the least.

never had any problems with my harris poles spinning clampless

I take the sections apart, fit rolled bands onto top two sections
for altering height these butt against clamp bodies and stop
spinning.

Its more like a put in pole with telescopic tendencies,doesnt look
very professional...but i like it

Not every idea catches on but without people coming up with ideas
where would we be?

I might be wrong but I'm sure peters clamp less pole
has a ridge which runs up each section, stoping the spinning.
I tried his pole when he was still working on it and was good then
not sure why he didn't put it to market 
Think he got caught up with the Aqua Tap.

Although most people didn't find the brush turning a problem it was something I fixed years ago.  That pole in the video was an off the shelf pole I bought in and it was quite floppy and useless out horizontal, but it did allow me to gather data on time savings etc and it was phenomenal. I have learned a lot since that pole in the video.   I have the Patents in place for this type of pole and it will be on the market one day soon.  I had a choice a while back to get the AquaTap or the clampless pole on the market and I chose the AquaTap. The clampless pole will be a game changer, and something to look forward to in the future.
