Lancaster University is seeking to establish a multi-lot framework
agreement with a number of suppliers for the supply of cleaning services
to the University.
The framework will run for a maximum of 4 years.
Suppliers can apply for one or more lots.
The framework will cover the following lots:
A Full building deep clean;
B Emergency / Ad-hoc cleaning;
C Bulk En-suite bathroom pod deep cleaning;
D Bulk Oven deep cleaning;
E Upholstery, Curtain and Carpets;
F External Cleaning.

1) Short description
Work typically is carried out from 1st July and end of September.
Deep cleaning of student accommodation blocks. Typically 10 blocks /

shower pods cleaned are approx. 3500 rooms.

1) Short description
Residences:
1) Typically on a yearly basis from 1st July to end of September approx.
1500 student bedroom carpets, curtains and upholstered chairs are cleaned.
2) At the end of each student year (July) there is typically 1000
additional carpet, curtain and upholstery cleans that are required across
campus and these need to be completed by end of October.
3) Typically from July September cleaning to a mixture of 1 seat, 2 seat
and 3 seater sofa cleaning is carried out approx. 200 sofas.

1) Weekly reactive carpet, sofa, chair cleaning in academic buildings and
residences.

1) Prior to July Graduation Ceremony to undertake power washing services

3) To clean 4 main boundary signs for the University twice a year and 4
woodland walk/trim signs four times a year.
