I went to Aus last year...

They dont have window cleaners there as such, they have companys go and do the whole 9 yards once a year or twice a year.
i.e - window clean, carpet clean, clean swimming pool etc

The idea of having a 'stranger' go round to your house is'nt 'normal' over there. (as in turn up every month)

No i asked my brother who lives over there.

I went to Sydney, then flew to Brisbane.

I put my business up for sale last year with the intension of moving over there, but have since changed my mind for now as have a few things that I need to sort over here first.

To be honest tho pal, its too hot over there to be going flat out window cleaning like you would here anyway... you would collapse.

My plan was to just do bar work... for a bit of extra income. Ideal for meeting people, and air con  ;D

you'll have no issues in Perth as your man has says  generally  cleaning involves more than wiindows inc pools outside areas sidings etc more of  a general external maintenance

do a Google search of window cleaners it will bring up a number of companies in your area
They operate a safety card system over there dependent on what state your in similar to the cscs here
well worth doing as it will open more doors for you

you'll love it
my Mrs uncle and family have been in Perth 2 years now they have said should have gone years ago

have a look on gumtree perth wa these usually plenty of work advertised on there it will give you a idea of what people are paying
Perth has more brits than any other city most still have the values and continue to live life like they did in the uk
they still have Sunday lunch watch out for the footie results  and want their windows cleaned every month
if your looking at setting up on your own there is a big and still growing ex pat community there

I used to live there and worked for a while as a landscape gardner amongst other things.
It's not too hot to go flat out you get used to the heat, I've played football when it's been 35c+.
Window cleaning is a different ball game.
Yes folk do have them cleaned every now and then but a lot of the time it involves removing mozzie screens.
Commercial is the way I'd go.
Oh and I'd go on a working holiday visa if your young enough to start with.

When her  uncle went his Mrs etc found Iit really easy there was loads of unskilled jobs but he had big problems he was a plumber / fitter and they did not recognise his qualifications so his been back to college to retrain and get what was needed for the last 2 years
luckily they had enough cash in the bank to survive
