There is SO much more to this as a question than just a four option poll. IMO, to respond to this correctly you would have to have had good experience with both a proper modular & a top level high reach pole like an Xtreme.

But the questions are only establishing if you use or not? Have I missed something... I want to know how many people use a modular pole, don't use one  ;)

I made one from a gangster fishing pole use it occasionally really light and easy to use.
It's a bit of a pain on domestics taking the sections off.
However if your cleaning something larger it's great.

Reach is 30ft
Weight approx 1kg with super lite brush!

Wrap some electrician's tape around where the poles join each other to create a 'stop'.  It stops one section sliding too far into the next one so you don't end up having to wrestle them apart.

Never used a modular but have used extreme47 with an extension and at this height i dont think i would want to be messing about adding modular sections.

Modular has advantages above 45' - - the SL2 is still lighter than even the Xtreme poles & you notice it at height.

That said, modular is slower in most cases, so unless a job is particularly well suited to it, I'd always use telescopic poles for lower work.
