IVe been practicing over last few days but results good but not great 

Ive looked at youtube videos so just looking for ur words of wisdom

Getting wee bit of spotting on odd window other than that quality decent!

And yes output tds at  pole is 000ppm

Make sure frames are mint to begin with, then you shouldnt really have many problems providing your technique is ok.

The drips down from the frames seem to be causing problems too

Try washing all the frames first on the whole house, then go back and do the glass on the whole house. This will give the frames chance to dry and minimise drips/runs

Leaves you two choices.
1)Scrub/flush out the frames more or
2) avoid them and concentrate on the glass.

Would scrubbing the frames without water, ie with a damp brush head be something anyone does to avoid these drips

Just use a bit more water spend a little longer cleaning the frames and glass on first clean.. its really worth the effort, then next time its plane sailing

Any input regarding techniques lads or is it simply clean frames, clean glass around seals, then rest of glass then rinse

You'll be doing a lot of first cleans wfp.
What I do is this.
Clean the whole lot paying particular attention to the top frame/seal.
Then I leave it and go do some other houses, come back a bit later when drips have stopped running from the top frame.
Next, clean glass only and make sure not to touch the top frame.

For technique on regular cleans I go twice across the top frame,
Once round the rest of it.
Scrub glass up and down once then side to side working my way down glass so I'm rinsing as I do a second scrub.
 On larger windows I tend to scrub twice and rinse with brush off.

I do similar to DG but never come back just warn the customer of potential drips.
Not saying he's wrong, just another perspective.

I never have any problems on first cleans with drips i just spend the time on them use more water etc! if there really dirty frames just take the time to clean them properly.

Do the frames have degraded rubber seals ?

9/10 on the second clean they say they were sparkly, just cover my back.

Drips are minimal but seals are good and no vents etc

Main issue seems to be spotting. Im back monday so currently trying to get technique correct on my own house

Stay away from above the vents .

However if it's a house converting from your Trad days then they should be relatively clean frames .

I sometimes clean above the vents on a house each day. , therefore always keeping Upto a good standard of frames being really clean .

The house I choose on a daily basis , I will clean all the upside frames first , then go back to the first window , and then clean the windows .

I have found that If I take the time on the first clean to deep clean frames and seals with G101. I don't have any more problems.. It takes much longer but As Im a startup Im as concerned about building a name as I am about making the money.. build the name the money will come..

I always charge 50% extra for The First clean.. to help cover the extra time.. I reckon I get this back on subsequent maintenance cleans as it a case of twice across the top frame. quick wipe over sides and sill. top seal twice up and down glass once side to side glass once and rinse Off..

On a first clean with vents I normally go back later in the day and if I have any runs I will just give the glass another rub.. After that keep away form the vents.. Once in a while I will rub above the vent but Never ever get water in the vent...

if your changing over from trad then just wfp the top windows or you ll be there all day.

then over the coming months slowly change most ground floor windows to wfp.this is the easiest way to do it if your changing a big chunk of work to the pole.

if its just a new first clean to add on to your existing work then what i do is spend twice as much time on getting the frames and windows up to scratch.i turn my heater up and use hotter water.it cuts through the dirt better IMO.

ALWAYS watch out for top rubber seals and avoid them if possible if they are dodgy.some wooden windows can cause problems as well.make sure top frame has stopped dripping before your final rinse on the glass.

most problems with spotting/runs are down to a top frame not being cleaned and rinsed properly or trapped water in a dodgy top rubber seal that drips down causing runs.

It doesn't matter how good or careful you are you will always get a small amount of spotting
here and there when using wfp methods.
I'm not saying on every property or window but on some, a good wfp cleaner will keep it to a minimum.
If your only getting a small amount of spotting then I wouldn't worry to much about it as
the customers wont even notice.

We always warn customers about spotting and streaks. We want all our customers to be 100% happy every time. If it means we need to go back to some we might have got away with then that is OK, so long an our quality remains high and the customer remains happy.

When we did the switch from trad it was VERY hard going. Once we had done the whole round and got back to where we started it wad like night and day.
