I've seen these window cleaners or window cleaning company's doing business on these site's like groupon
time & time again charging rediculously low price's they cant possibly sustain, they dont last long,

Can't remember how much of the 5 quid goes to Groupon, but good luck with that!! Imagine having to work for that, AND travel from W Midlands to S west to do a job!!!  We had all this Groupon garbage last year, and there's still people who think it's a great way to earn. The only ones earning are Groupon.

Groupon takes 50% you get 50% plus taken off so they will get £2
bargain.None of them will want there windiws cleaned again.All the windows will be minging.

Cozy i think Groupon or similar site's take anywhere between  25% to 40% of the price seen on the advert
as their cut.

Perhaps the guy thinks he's going to get repeat business from this? Perhaps he's in dire straits. Perhaps he doesn't come on this forum so we can teach him our worldly-wise ways.

Perhaps he thinks he'll go and clean the house and canvass round it or get others come up to him.

At worst he'll learn it doesn't work or get troublesome customers.

Its just s4ite really. He claims to have been trading since 2004 but 10 years on is looking for custards on a "Groupon" like deal with 1970 prices. He must have learnt nothing in those years.

I like them though, there must be a market for people who want the job done for next to nothing. They are also the messers I've found.

Looks like a fairly professional outfit to be fair. And his normal prices are more than I charge.  

Maybe we are missing something here and this a viable option of getting repeat custom at a higher price?

I doubt it though. Just don't understand how you could make a one off clean for £5 work unless you had 30 houses all in a row, which you aren't going to get on these deals. It's going to be one house here there and everywhere, would cost me more then £5 In fuel per customer.
