New year I'mlooking at bringing food to work instead of buying bacon and egg cobs every day
What's best for you regarding high energy and work production

I take a "jet boil" very quick, very compact gas lasts me months

You can make tea coffee in it, often heat up home made vegetable Thai soup, or sometimes bowl noodles

I carry all dried food spices in the van

I will often cook food before start one job when finished its a good temprature to eat, saved me loads money on eating out

Amazing bit kit

Flask of tea with a separate milk bottle.

Sandwiches or hot soup, yogurt and cereal bar

Apple,banana and bottle of water.

This is what I take to work most days.lunchtime is 20-30 mins then back at it. ;D
price higher/work harder!

Flask for tea/coffee is essential, especially at this time of year. For a high energy sandwich i would use egg mayo, corned beef and spinach. Other options would be a cornish pasty, or some kind of cold pasta dish (which you can make up in advance, a few days worth), or some homemade soup of some kind in a flask. Banana is the obvious fruit option, and for something sweet, a flapjack or similar. Oh, and as has been mentioned, a good breakfast is the best way to start the day!.

Being a scot, i am very familiar with scotch eggs, but a long time ago while living and working in wigan, i convinced a guy i worked with that scotch eggs were produced by 'special' hens, and they came out like that  ;D ;) ???
