Unbelievable some of the kiss arses on here . Amazing .

Seems to have good CUSTIE relations , but the smart clamp upgrade followed by another lever upgrade has changed my feelings about the gardiner range in general .
I got slated for not liking a poor upgrade that LOADS didn't like and hence another lever was developed .
Why was the lever developed ?? Can't be just for one or two moaners

I really do feel like giving up with you Kempy - you are being rude about some of our clients with comments like that. I understand that you are entitled to your 'opinion' however being rude is not an opinion it is just being rude.

To clarify, another lever has not been developed it is exactly the same lever as before. There is however a new locking nut on the adjustment bolt which is why I was offering to send you out some new lever sets (not that the levers are new) as the complete set is needed for the way the new system works.

I did also explain in detail yesterday via email that not very many clients at all are in need of these new lever sets (with improved bolt locking) but sometimes just one or two persons comments are enough to trigger me to look at improving a part if I think that there is a long term benefit. You seem to have trouble believing that very few people have experienced problems such as you have apparently experienced when upgrading your 4 year old SLX pole to the new smart clamps.

We have had a small number of clients who found that the bolts on the clamps did not hold their position and needed re-adjusting (on upgrades and on some new poles). However the number is very small compared to the nearly 6000 poles that have been sold/upgraded since May of this year. This new part addresses any such issues and also has other benefits which is why it will be introduced on all poles eventually.

Simple ...keep your ' Levers ' I'm not bothered anymore .
Don't bother sending them .
Like you said you feel like giving up , then simple give up and don't send them .
I'll cope , and I'm sure you will .
Done and dusted

Happy new year .

Ass licking?

Firstly: by what you have just written on the open forum, it explain, that you are very uneducated person and also it explain that you are very jalousie individual, and unfortunately you will go on in life with no success at all.

Secondly: I have been buying products from Alex for the past five years, and he has bend backward to help me or any other problems that have accrued in past, also in few occasion he has helped me with few things that wasn’t even related to his product.
Now I have never come a cross any company in this industry that can match his clabber, in fact most other companies just want to sell you their product and have hardly any good after sale service like Gardiners.

So do yourself a favour and learn from Alex instead of putting him down.
Or don’t bother making any comments at all.

Looked stupid ... Nah , I've helped possibly 50 plus on where to buy poles from if they wish to do so .
I've made a few comments on the clamps etc and suprisinglyba few others had issues .
I've not looked stupid , far from it , I'm a balanced poster , that's all .
Not a  sheep follower ....

A uneducated person would be someone who could only buy from one supplier like a few from here do , I buy from various suppliers both in the uk and overseas .
Not bad .
Alex has done very well , I applaud him for running a business etc , no problems or jealously from me .

Kempy and KevinC are only really upset because Her Majesty the Queen did not give Alex a knighthood in the New Year's Honours list.

Summer's coming boys, maybe then?

Thousands of members? Probably not even 50 regular posters. Kemp is entitles to his opinion just like you are. It just goes against the grain when someone doesn't kiss ar5e on here.

Quite refreshing imo

Mayb Kempys words were a bit choice, but I know that quite a few agree with his views.

There Is a select few on here that think gardiners is the be all and end all, and anyone that thinks other wise is wrong.

Me personally I very much like gardiners. Currently nearly all my equipment is from them, apart from a few things here and there, I like using all their equipment, and I even do really like the new smart clamps compared to any other type.

HOWEVER.......do I think gardiners pole systems are the be all and end all? No.

If that was the case, then they would have a monopoly and be able to charge what they liked.

Everyone is entitled to their own opinions and views, and if for some that means only buying gardiners products then that is fine. I do feel though, that people need to "broaden their horizons" and think outside the box for a lot things, And most of all, not to criticise someone for suggesting new things.

Yes that’s fine, every one are entitled to their opinion, But to come on forum and using a bad language? I don’t think that’s acceptable, and he is only brought himself down and not Alex.

So the original poster comes on here and starts a thread to ask Alex Gardiner a question. Alex answers it. Then a couple of others ask advice and Alex answers them, putting up links and giving an explanation.

Then there is thanks given to Alex and although I'm sure Alex doesn't seek it a poster wishes him a happy new year and a prosperous 2014 as many folk do this time of the year.

Then we get the "lick, lick, lick" comment from the late lamented kevinc quickly followed by kempy talking about ass kissing.

I mean what's that all about?

It's almost like kevinc and kempy are stalking any Gardiner related post not realising that their way of expressing themselves puts off many forum members and just shows the marked difference between the way they conduct themselves compared with Alex Gardiner.

They might get one or two like minded supporters but I believe the vast majority of readers of this thread wouldn't dream of buying anything off someone who shows such rudeness and contempt for other posters.

I wonder if there is not some frustration being shown over the impotence felt at being unable to mount a credible alternative to supply the majority of posters on this forum.

I must admit I have probably gone too far in my moaning , but I also have had to defend myself as well .
A lot on here are obsessed with gardiners , and not suprisingly as Alex must  monitor every post  and other forums when someone doesn't like his product or preferes something else . He then defends his business , clever , always in the custies thoughts.
FREE ADVERTISING ETC .
He stated that my pole was a 2009 pole , trying to probably argue it is well worn . I'm sure he hasn't bothered looking deeper into my 2009 pole that it has has at least two whole new sections bought within the last few years  so it isn't really just a 2009 pole .
Anyway not bothered about that .
Having a go at folk , Judt about most on here have a go at folk .

Anyway I think I will become more of a browser and listener from now on .
No point posting on here about buying alternative poles , especially 45ft ones at considerable savings as a lot of you are

Alex gardiner worshippers

AS THE TITLE OF THE POST SUGGESTS

Bad language , come on , I used the word Arse , hardly bad language . Yes not the best language bit come on , your clutching at straws there .

Stalking every gardiner post , I find that interesting comment to make . Alex responds to every post that is negative about his products ,  I'm sure he posted several comments on the famous China poles topic -I wonder way
He dragged up my buying history etc , but didn't post my couple of new sections I'd bought in updating my 2009 pole .
I've had emails from him , he posts on here , I wonder  if you would class him as stalking the boards .
Jesus , good job all the other suppliers don't come onto a public forum and do that , be far too much traffic .
I agree it is good that he does communicate , but take the rough with the smooth . Can't just have it one way .
