Thinking off buying one off the above , I want to know wheres best place to buy one what I would need and what size resin I would need , my water pressure is around 80 psi I dont think I need a booster pump .I need an ro that can produce a 1000 litres of water in less than a day I would also like to know what the merlin 720 is like cheers kev  :)y

For similar money you can get a 4040 .

I just need as much info as I can get,  I'm using 300 gpd to at no but its not producing fast enough.

there is only a few quid difference between a 4040 and a 4021 so for producing lots of water quickly i would go for a 4040 .

A hf5 membrane will be fine on 80psi input pressure (will drop to about 55-60 when waste is set to produce)

pre filters can be ten or 20 inch but 20inch will need changing less often , there is also this from gardiners -

expensive to start with but replacement filter costs 28 quid and last for 350000 litres.

I've just changed from a 300gpd to a 4040 hf5 and its a huge difference, don't compromise buy the right one to begin with

I got the membrane from gaps water I think about 260 quid and a stainless steel housing from vyair for 119 , fixtures and fittings apx another 50 quid also brought 20" pre fiters
