Shina - sorry mate but as you use the car for family/pleasure you can not claim 100% costs of the vehicle only a percentage

Best regards

Darran

This is true, as is the fact that if you use your van for any trip other than for work it needs to be taken off as a %

Aye,  but it's easy to prove that you didn't use your 3 seat van to lug the wife, 3 kids and dog around the Scottish highlands sightseeing 😜

Never argue with an idiot, they will only bring you down to their level, and beat you with experience

Hi Darren,
Yes I know, its funny coz when I wrote that I thought someone will say something.
What I really mean is that I make a claim on the car. I have an accountant and all my car expenses I list and give to him, he will then sort the percentage out.
If I had a van then I would only be able to claim on the van and not the car.
When my family are independant then I will get a van and will get the mrs a new car, until then as much as I want a van its simply not worth it.

roberts right, a car pulls in loads of work, im not sure why but they do
Because they scream "I'm cheap" I would guess.
yes i agree car says your cheap, some like cheap, others like a nice sign written van on there drive,it projects a proffesional image and you dont have to be chaep,in my opinion
