About three years ago we were cleaning our regular bars and restaurants in Corn Street, Bristol which is the legal district of the city and includes the crown courts. We were blading the windows of an art deco building off a double pointer when a "chap" in a pin striped suit put his hand on the ladder and said "we need your help" we've been locked out of our offices and could you climb your ladders to the first floor and open up, I asked for a more detailed description of the problem and was told the locksmith can't attend until 10am and they need to be in chambers
I'd already eyeballed the open window on the first floor and reckoned I'd have that door open within 5 minutes flat.
I figured the "chap" I was talking to was a partner in the law firm and probably earns several hundred pounds an hour so not particularly needing work but having the tools necessary I said £200.00
He agreed on this instantly, so as my employee was finishing the bar we were cleaning I took a few minutes out of my day to earn £200.00. in this part of the city there's banks on all sides, so as his staff were all entering the office I'd opened for them he was passing me two hundred notes from the nearest machine
