what are your best earnings for a hours work
« on: December 21, 2013, 07:15:48 pm »
my best earnings for a hours work is £200, I did a gutter clear for 2 blocks of flats, I guessed it wasn't all blocked, I did it in torrential rain so didn't earn any more that day and was soaked through.

Why on earth do you guys come on here boasting about your hourly rate. Just think through all those who read it and await your tax investigation!

Franky stop boasting!!

gutter clearing is my top earner per hour too.

i;ve done quite a few £100-£150 an hour gutter jobs.  not had a £200 one tho...  i'll have to try and beat that now ;)

I got a job that is £110, if I went flat out speed cleaning I could do it in an hour. (Im going to whip this one out tomorrow morning before my xmas shopping as I couldnt do it today  ;D)

Another factory £92, again put your foot down and an hour it can be done in.

(These 2 are my best, and also I must add that I did not price these 2 jobs, they came with a round that I bought)

As for the tax investagation, they can carry on as these jobs get submitted along with the rest of them.

About three years ago we were cleaning our regular bars and restaurants in Corn Street, Bristol which is the legal district of the city and includes the crown courts. We were blading the windows of an art deco building off a double pointer when a "chap" in a pin striped suit put his hand on the ladder and said "we need your help" we've been locked out of our offices and could you climb your ladders to the first floor and open up, I asked for a more detailed description of the problem and was told the locksmith can't attend until 10am and they need to be in chambers  :o I'd already eyeballed the open window on the first floor and reckoned I'd have that door open within 5 minutes flat.

I figured the "chap" I was talking to was a partner in the law firm and probably earns several hundred pounds an hour so not particularly needing work but having the tools necessary I said £200.00

He agreed on this instantly, so as my employee was finishing the bar we were cleaning I took a few minutes out of my day to earn £200.00. in this part of the city there's banks on all sides, so as his staff were all entering the office I'd opened for them he was passing me two hundred notes from the nearest machine

Ah ha, wrong fella Darren I'm afraid mate. Its Cozy you're thinking of. He has an obsession with public toilets, German toilets in particular, in Berlin. He frequents the red-light district, otherwise known as Uberdubermywillysinyerdumper Stausse. Him and Franky Bad Boy are always fiddling with each others 'U-bends'.
