Hi guys, I am having a system upgrade which includes using 20" pre filters . can I mount these horizontal rather than vertical.

I'd of thought vertical only but I may be wrong, never know n e one to lay them horizontally 👳👳👳

They are designed to be installed vertically, but each end of the elements is sealed so water enters through the centre and then passes through the element and exits from the outer surface.
The only problems could be risk of leakage and reduced efficiency if the filter housings don't fill completely during operation.
Try it and see, you can always re-think it afterwards if is isn't satisfactory.
