Fake TDS meters
« on: December 19, 2013, 08:33:59 pm »
So, getting our new van kitted out and orderd everything as you would need and the new TDS meter arrived yesterday from supplier and i think its a cheap Ebay china import!

It was purchased from a legitimate supplier. I have what i think is a genuine one, has anyone had any dealings with a copy/fake TDS3 meter???

And just out of interest i got a cup of tap water and they both show different reading!!

Oooooo that is shiny!!

Yeah thats what i think!

The case is clearly different and the actual unit is just rubbish, it just feels different and doesnt seem put together as well.

This is funny, taken from the web site where i purchased the dud from.....
"Watch for cheap low quality versions, only buy the best and save buying again!!"

LOL  ill be ringing said company and complaining tomorrow!!!
Oooooo that is shiny!!

Web site shows HM on them!!! Thats more my point as well!!
Clearly the company has tried to save a few quid and buy some cheap Ebay one and sell them on for £20!

Should have gone to a registered HM TDS supplier like www.daqua.co.uk and got it for £15 delivered!!!!!!

Im going to proper moan at them tomoz!
Oooooo that is shiny!!

 ;D ;D ;D

About 40 years ago I bought a piece of polished coral from a Ugandan bloke I met in a market.  He told me to keep it in my trouser pocket and said it was a guaranteed protection against Beri-Beri.  This works fine too - I've never had Beri-Beri ;D

HM digital all the way.

If it was advertised as HM digital and the one you've been sent isn't, then make a complaint, and also tell HM digital too.  I'm sure they will want to know that someone is abusing their trademark/brand

I don't bother with Tds readers, I just taste the pure water and can tell, if that fails I wait till customer says my windows are really spotting 😎👳👳👳
