Hi Guys

I have cleaned them using the TM.

Thing to remember is that the foam will act like a sponge so you need to use a tool that has surface contact like a Drimaster or alternatively, pre spray work in and then lightly spray above foam and extract well.

The foam itself is water cleanable, wouldn't be much use otherwise.

Cheers

Doug

Most MFmatresses have a removable washable outer cover,

I would first go in with a mist of pureclean& oxibrite then a light scrub, then towel off.

Why does it need cleaning, stains? Smells?

If its straight forward cleaning then you could even use a shamppo, however in my experience when a customer wants their mattress cleaned it usually involves removing urine or blood.
If urine has soaked through the removable cover into the foam then you have a problem

On the back of this (and a few other) threads I've just baled out on a MF mattress job today - anyone want it (Cheadle Hulme) - PM me for details.

I've now taken mattress cleaning off my services list!

Don't blame you, David. I wouldn't touch them with a barge pole.

David

Why just explain the limitations one of the best jobs I have had was just to spray a soiled one with odour neutraliser and walk (not memory foam) had about 20 referrals from the customer plus her full town house carpets also done a few memory foam with CFR tool light mist of nemesis first and put drypod on top

Hi guys.
No washable, removable outer cover. Very grubby, no urine stains but staining caused by bodily fluids (sweat). Customer claims to have paid 3 grand for it & doesn't want me to ruin it.... Think I might walk away from this one.
Thanks to everybody for your help.

do not see why people make such a fuss about things and advise on things they know nothing about. If the mattress has that value then the cleaning also has a value as well. Even if it takes time to dry so what. Specialist cleaning is where the money is. I have taken on many "problem" situations in the past, it gives you the opportunity to demonstrate an area of expertise and you end up with customers who will always make you the first contact for any future problems.
